This is street art in cascais

Got this in the mail, and had to share it. Right next to the Police department of Cascais, you can find two shapes very different from the others. Coincidence, or just someone with a sense of humor? Share your thoughts…

This new edition of the Random Porto was conceived exclusively on lomography cameras, so it’s all analog from start to finish. Enjoy the latest from the city, thanks to Juanita.
Around two months ago, I was contacted by two young brazilian artists (André Castanheira & Diego Casanovas) who wanted to do a short doc on Porto’s streetart. I’m glad to see the short doc has been released at the “Manobras no Porto” event last week, and can now be seen online. Jump inside for the video, and you might just recognize such artists as Tae, Costah, Hazul, Paul Bloas, ±MaisMenos, Dub and many more. Enjoy…
Proud to announce that a new urban art festival is about to begin, outside of the main cities of Portugal. WOOL is the name of the festival to take place in Covilhã, and it’s a pun between the word WOOL and its near-homophone WALL. Artists like ARM collective, Vhils, Btoy and the Inside Out project by JR are already part of the festival, which will have several on going events during the next months. It’s sure to say that more surprises will pop up in Covilhã soon. Poster and video teaser inside.

Dedo no Gatilho is Miss K‘s blog on Porto’s street art. A frequent collaborator of this website, bringing you another fine edition from Porto’s streets. She always has fresh new content over at her blog, so make sure you drop by every now and then.
Random Porto is back with more stencils, graffiti, stickers and more from the city of Porto, thanks to the collaboration of “Papaguena”, who gives birth to this latest edition.
O que diz Lisboa? (Say What, Lisbon?) is a photography work by Laura Ramos, snapping pics from Lisbon street-art dated as far back as 2006 till the present time. This body of work will be shown this Saturday 14th from 5pm till 11pm at Espaço Nimas. There will also be a breakdance jam by 12macacos.

What better way to end the year if not with the successful edition that started the year. Mishka Wobble has a cool fb page with lot’s of stencils from the city of Lisboa, and decided to leave some of his pics for this Random Lisa edition. Enjoy Lisboa.
