Golden eggs for dinner by Pantonio
Pantonio has once again dropped a fresh piece in the streets of Lisboa.

Mr. Phomer is back at it in the streets of London. If you well remember his Supreme x Gaga action, you’ll surely not let this one by without a second view. This Supreme x Kate Moss adbust is yet another visually appealing twist, well elaborated by Mr. Phomer. Inside, a sample of some of the pics, as well as a video by João Retorta.

Following on the work Pantónio had left two weeks ago, and after some major exposure on the news, he decided to hit other signs again, and these can be seen in Saldanha, Braancamp, Marquês and Rossio on the 25th of April.

This is what drives me to go online, the quickness and the results you can have with the right search. So, this was how this post was gonna be like yesterday night: “I have no idea on how this project showed up, but I’m loving it. If someone knows anything about this project, please let me know. “. But, after an hour of researching and bouncing from site, to picasa accounts, to flickrs and back to websites, I ended up on the right path. Although this is a project from last year, it stunned me when I first saw these pics that Encore took last week, leaving me eager to find out more. “Mouraria on mosaics” is a project from Camilla Watson, a photographer that learned the tricks of liquid photo emulsion on mosaics.

Some works that seem to have passed by me unnoticed are the amazing posters created by Janina Brandão last summer, with a take on the state of the art in Portugal, for her final school project. This was done in Porto and is exactly what I wanna see being done more and more in Portugal. Good works showing up on the streets.

Although Banksy’s movie is on top of my list, and sadly I’ll miss the premiere for 2 days while in London, there’s new documentaries/movies worth watching and this might be one of those. I love Swoons artwork, personality and her presence towards the movement, so this can hopefully make us spend some time glued to the screen. Sadly, and via Dave the Chimp himself, he got cuted out of the movie in the end!

Unurth has some new shots from Bumblebee up on their site, and there’s also an interview you should check on the artist.

The latest book I received was from Slinkachu amazing artwork “Little people in the street”, and it’s great to see he has new pics up on his blog. Check the latest here.

As the year is coming to an end, I believe it’s important to remember what has passed by this website along the year and also to make a tradition for the next year to come.
So whether it’s a Portuguese event or a Portuguese artwork, as long as it was done by Portuguese artists even if outside of Portugal, I’m setting here my highlights for the year 2009.
I’ll be splitting this into two categories with the events first, and second the artists who made a bigger fuss in this year! So, carry on inside ladies and gentlemen…
