Catching up with Vhils

Vhils recently had 2 pieces at the Lazarides Opening of their new London Gallery Space at Rathbone Place. Besides that, he was also involved in a project called Tunnel 228. A space curated by Kevin Spacey. Yes, the man itself. And portuguese Vhils was asked to join the art performance with a piece of his own. I got a hold of a copy of the catalog from the Tunnel 228, and you can check some pictures inside.

Secret Wars *London*

Well, on the May 24th happened the last Secret Wars in London. The battle was performed by UK artists against our Portuguese ones. The English team had Alfa, Jimi Crayon and Tek1 and our Portuguese team was made by Mar, Klit and Hium. I believe we just lost round 1, but the good news is that round 2 will be in Lisbon. Coming soon…

Oooh baby I like it raw!!

Yeah baby I like it rawww!!! Orelha Negra surprised me since I didn’t knew the crew was made by all stars. Sam the Kid (MPC) and Cruzfader (on the decks), alonside with their amazing band composed by Francisco Rebelo (Guitar), João Gomes (Keys) and Ferrano (drums), who we’re used to listen in other projects like Cool Hipnoise. Loved the experience, and looking forward for a fisical album. Macacos put’d up a good show as well, with the theme “Festa” to end the night. It was like if we were back in the 90′s listening to a 2Unlimited top hit, ahah!
A ÚLTIMA SEITA kicked ass!
pic by Francisco Rebelo, and big thanks to Kwame and Tupac.
