Vhils is set to release a new book of his best works from these latest 5 years entitled “VHILS / Alexandre Farto 2005 – 2010″. The book release will take place in Amsterdam, this Thursday 30th alongside with Slinkachu’s new book and the “Exit through the Gift Shop” movie screening. The book has a preface from Tristan Manco, texts from Miguel Moore and design by Luís Cruz. Lebowski Publishers is hosting the party, so in case you’re in Amsterdam this Thursday check the info inside.

This new edition of the Random Lisa comes as a landmark, since it’s the first time a foreigner enters the edition. Artist Encore who’s been to Lisboa blogged here some weeks ago, took so many photos of the city that I invited him to give it a shot on this new edition. He immediately agreed to it, and this is what came out. Enjoy Lisboa…

“Qual o Presente das paredes do Bairro Alto?” (What’s the future of the walls of Bairro Alto) is a new debate about the current state of the Bairro Alto walls that will be taking place at the WHO gallery space. Pedro Soares Neves aka Uber will lead the discussion following on the last edition theme, and later on perform his interaction on a sculpture piece of Pedro Valdez.

Geneve is getting a new pet in the streets, with this owl by Bruno Santinho. Done with indian ink and old magazine pages.

Vhils is involved in NuArt 10, one of the greatest street art festivals to happen this year, with artists like Dolk, JR, M-City, EVOL, ROA, Blu & Ericailcaine and many more. Check his latest works inside, and the NuArt page for more amazing pieces by all the other artists.

Just spotted these tiles during the weekend, around Conde Barão. Don’t know if it’s the same guys as this previous piece, but the technique is the same. Hit me up if you have any info.

Ship & Smile exhibition blogged here ended up last week, but before it finished Miss K made it to the closing party in Leiria and as always, ended up taking her machine and snapping some shots. I love the phrase that goes on the window, as some people might actually mistaken it for a photo. Towards the ending, a debate on the state of graffiti and street art was taken following the subject from the book by Ricardo Campos, “Porque pintamos a cidade” (Why we paint the city).

Mr. Dheo was invited to be a part of the 1st International Graffiti Fine Art Bienal at MuBe, São Paulo. Inside there’s some pics from the finished piece, but do check his website for a graphic journey from this trip.
