Last week, GonçaloMar debuted his new solo show “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibilities” over at Montana Lisboa, heavily inspired in comics and superheroes. The show was heavily packed, and the artwork was just overwhelming. Loving these new pieces by MAR. Coming this friday, is the illustration collective show “UIVO” with a huge amount of talented artists to Fórum da Maia. The list contains António Soares, Artur Escarlate, Célia Esteves, David Penela, Francisco Martins, João Drumond, Júlio Dolbeth, Kruella D’Enfer, Mariana a Miserável, Mesk, Miguel Ministro, Nicolau, Oker, Rui Ricardo, Rui Sousa, Wated Rita and Zé Cardoso. Shifting the attention on to Portuguese artists outside Portugal, these are the latest pieces by Rotten Leftovers in the forests of Switzerland. Expect some more soon.

This weekend we headed over to the Lisbon Art Fair, an annually event that’s sadly becoming emptier and worst then ever. Luckly, Pedro Zamith was painting live throughout the whole week and it felt like the perfect moment to finally meet the men who’s work I’ve been following for some time now. Inside, the almost finished wall he was working on, as well as some small gifts he left us with. Was really pleased to have met him.

Krypton Gallery just hosted a small show from Tosco & Fossil, by the name of “STOPMUNDO”. The space gallery suits perfectly for the large walls it provides, specially for graffiti artists as is the case. Check the gallery and video inside.

The ARM collective was also part of the Walk & Talk, and have left another excellent piece from their story in the walls of Açores. The mix between Mar & Ram have been evolving in the past years, and the result can easily be seen in these new works either indoors or outdoors. Great job!

Stephan Doitschinoff aka CALMA opened to the public his latest installation / performance in Lisboa this Saturday. The audience gathered for some time before the show, and when the preparations were done, we started lining up by the alley along the walls. A temple was built, and the performance would then complete the piece inside one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Lisboa, Mouraria.
