Remember that video I showed you a couple of weeks ago from an abandoned building? Well, it’s now time to tell you who’s behind that. RAM & MAR are two Portuguese artists which names I’m sure you’ve already heard of. The name ARM came to give birth to the formula that was clearly working from a long date, in which RAM and MAR have been working together throughout the years. I’m lifting the curtain a little bit more for what’s coming soon.

Add fuel to the fire had his latest solo show Thursday last week at Restart, Lisboa. Lucky to have been to the studio just days before, there was no way I’d miss the premiere last week. With an imagery that picks up on our childhood toys, he gave all of those past objects a futuristic revamp exclusively for this “school comeback”.

A brilliantly executed piece in Anjos by collective CC, for a typical view of what’s seen on the streets of Lisboa. If you don’t know, Securitas is a security/vigilante company and this is exactly what these ladies do all day on the porches of the windows. They patrol the streets, one phone away to call the police. I remember I used to play soccer on the street, and this lady always called the police whenever we were there. Of course by the third day she did that again, police didn’t bother anymore.

The latest battle of the Secret Wars event happened last Sunday 20th, but I only had the chance to update the blog now. Jump inside for pics and a summary of what happened!

As I had previously announced on FB, the Lisa Random edition is back and will have an ongoing edition every last Friday of each month. And the best thing is, there will be more people who photograph on the streets involved. This means I won’t be the only one in charge of this edition, and will also give space for the ones who really scout the streets daily, looking for that one new piece of street art. Random Lisa means random pics from Lisboa with no order what so ever. For this second edition, we have I Wall You as the result of a month of pictures around the city.

Just days away from the inauguration of his brand new solo show, Add fuel to the fire was working at his studio when I decided to pay him a little visit. I can assure you that whether you’re a nerd or not, there’s always something you’ll love in this space. Personally I’d just take his dog, while others might go for the arcade or the Star Wars toys, eheh. The guy is working hard on all new pieces for the show. Meanwhile, here’s a little preview of what will come up.

Tosco is highly active on the streets or in abandoned places, with bigger and better murals by the time. A new piece just showed up this week online. I believe this is one of those warehouses where you can actually play paintball, so maybe next time when we see this picture, he’s already all covered up by paintball ink. Who knows.
