Just got word of this wall in Setúbal, by artist 2-Hands for the “Setúbal mais bonita” (a prettier Setúbal) project, by the city council. The bird on the wall reflects on the name of the adjacent house “Adega dos Passarinhos” (birds wine cellar), a place where Bocage used to take his mistresses back in the days.
As part of the Montana Shop & Gallery Lisboa anniversary, they’ve invited artist ARYZ to paint a building in the city centre. Once again, he did not disappoint with this huge wall painting in Lisboa. Amazing dynamic and colors to his characters. Don’t miss his show tomorrow night.
Montana Shop & Gallery Lisboa is about to celebrate their 2nd anniversary this Thursday, and by now (if you follow my facebook/twitter page) you already now that artist Aryz is in town and doing a massive wall in Lisboa. This is possible due to the efforts made by the Montana team and the GAU project (Urban Art Gallery) from the city council. For the anniversary of Montana, Aryz is also putting together a small show for the gallery. Flyer and info inside.

This post is really late, so I’m just laying it here with some really old and some other recent stuff. Since Miami Art Basel had so much to diggest, I’ll dig in to that later.

One of the latest interventions from EIME, done for the GAU project. Check the final wall and a small video with clips made in the making of.
Director Pedro Agra is in the making of a new mini doc of street artist Costah, entitled “Who trades this culture for dollars?”. Check the teaser inside, and stay tuned for upcoming news.
Not more than two weeks ago, Btoy was the 3rd artist to be invited for the WOOL festival in Covilhã. Btoy is a female artist from Barcelona that works mainly on stencil. I’ve had the chance to see her working in Barcelona before, and was happy to see her work again 4 years later and this time in Portugal. Along with her was artist Uriginal, who I’ve left some flicks here as well. Besides painting the main wall, Btoy had time to do a weekend workshop with locals, and paste up some posters in town. Check it all inside, with pics from Pedro Seixo Rodrigues mixed with some of my own. Enjoy.
This weekend we headed over to the Lisbon Art Fair, an annually event that’s sadly becoming emptier and worst then ever. Luckly, Pedro Zamith was painting live throughout the whole week and it felt like the perfect moment to finally meet the men who’s work I’ve been following for some time now. Inside, the almost finished wall he was working on, as well as some small gifts he left us with. Was really pleased to have met him.

Thanks to Luis Pedro, one of the editors of a past Random Lisa edition, we have more pics from other walls found in Lisboa done by Chase. Simple forms and colors, with a good mood to them.
