We’ve announced the show last week, and now the pics are in. “Memória & Destruição” was a collective show with many artists on its line up, working on different mediums. Among the artists, were RUA collective which I’ve been following close lately. You can check the gallery pics and video inside.
Shifting the attention on to Portuguese artists outside Portugal, these are the latest pieces by Rotten Leftovers in the forests of Switzerland. Expect some more soon.
This weekend we headed over to the Lisbon Art Fair, an annually event that’s sadly becoming emptier and worst then ever. Luckly, Pedro Zamith was painting live throughout the whole week and it felt like the perfect moment to finally meet the men who’s work I’ve been following for some time now. Inside, the almost finished wall he was working on, as well as some small gifts he left us with. Was really pleased to have met him.
“Run n tell that” is the latest solo show from Mr. Phomer still showing at Waves & Woods, Lisboa, with his “everyday life (de)motivational posters”. Catch a glimpse of what you can find visiting the shop.
GrafikWalls (mentioned here) made a pop up show on October 1st. Was nice to catch up with some of the artists, and to take a look in person of how the project was going. Catch a sample of what happened on that day.

Pedro Matos latest show “Ephemera” at the Shooting Gallery in San Francisco is now live. A great body of work presented on his new solo show, which you can check inside, plus the presence of artists like Antony Lister, Ben Frost & Eine at the inauguration.
Phlegm is a Sheffield, UK artist who has also made part of the urban festival in Açores. His piece is enormously detailed, and took around 4 days to complete. According to Phlegm, the wall features imaginative but slightly impractical ways of fishing, like herding fish using dead fish heads on spears or tricking fish into shoals with a mobile of false fish.
