The “Push Click” collective was present at the Lx Factory Open Day, thanks to Espaço TRES21. As expected, the Open Day had lot’s of people coming in for several hours for multiple purposes, so we had to take the chance. Here’s a small part of the original PushClick show we had last month, still going until the end of this week. Also coming, some goodies from the show for sale.
Right after the PushClick 2nd installment at Lx Factory and just before the main Montana show ends this week, this post comes to celebrate videogames and new artists in Lisboa. This Super Mario Bros wall was conceived inside the “Public Art” talks for the program “Chiado na Moda”. According to the author, Maria Sassetti, this street has been the target of many construction works during the past years making it a very unpleasant street to pass by (which is on route to the Fine Arts School of Lisboa) and since that building in question belonged to the Metro (Subway), filling it with tunnels and pipes would make that connection with one of the most popular games in history.
Ok, so I was looking for some new iPhone games and I kinda missed these big launches lately: Metal Slug, Driver, N.O.V.A. and MiniGore Xmas edition which are already out, and I’m sure to get these for a XMas gaming time. I’ve tried MiniGore and man, is it awesome. Lots of new power-ups and the enemies just keep on coming. But, discussing the new apps in the office lead us to this game, Real Soccer 2010. They made me laugh so hard with this gem you have no idea. Just take a look at the screenshot from the appStore. Get it?
I’m surely not the guy I was, cutting all the tips and tricks I could get from old magazines of the games I played or haven’t played, but every single tip was worthy of saving, in case some friend of a friend had that special game I could never afford to, and when the day came I’d want to beat it as soon as possible since memory cards where not available and the option to leave the console ON for a whole week just to finish the complete tournaments was a must.
Hell yeah! One of the coolest, most innovative games ever (back in the days), has reached the iPhone platform, in a new remixed version. Let’s see how far I can get with no buttons… If you don’t remember this guy, don’t miss this old Sega CD video inside.
And only Gmail can make me smile like this in the morning, ahah. The colors are a little harsh on the eye, but it’s a damn good attempt. More please!
